Social Relationships
The social track is the default relationship path between any two Parafolk in Melino. Every new meeting starts at Stranger and can grow into a lifelong Best Friend Forever bond through shared time, conversations, and Together Cards. The Enemy label tracks hostility from negative interactions.

Stranger
Max Lv 2The starting point for all relationships. Every Parafolk you haven't interacted with is a Stranger. Reaches max level quickly through basic greetings.
At max level → Acquaintance
Acquaintance
Max Lv 10Automatically upgrades from Stranger. You've met but aren't close yet. Build this through casual conversations and shared activities.
Friend
Max Lv 100A meaningful bond. Friends unlock personal Together Cards, can ask about each other's day, and share deeper conversations. The backbone of social life in Melino.
Best Friend Forever
The ultimate social bond. Requires a special Together Card played between Teen friends. A permanent commitment that unlocks unique interactions.
Enemy
negativeBuilt through insults, betrayals, and conflict. Coexists with other labels — you can be both a Friend and an Enemy. Unlocks hostile interactions.

How do you make friends in Paralives?
Friendships form naturally through social interactions. Every Parafolk starts as a Stranger (max level 2), which auto-transforms into Acquaintance (max level 10) after basic interactions. Continue spending time together to reach Friend (max level 100). The highest social tier is Best Friend Forever, which requires a dedicated 'Promise to Stay Friends Forever' Together Card.
Can Parafolk become enemies in Paralives?
Yes. Negative interactions like insults, gossip gone wrong, and betrayals add to the Enemy label. Enemy coexists with other labels — a Parafolk can be both a Friend and an Enemy simultaneously, creating complex relationships.
What does max level mean for relationships?
Each label has a max level cap. When a label reaches its max, it can transform into a higher-tier label (e.g., Stranger → Acquaintance → Friend). Higher levels unlock new Together Cards, interactions, and social benefits.
