The Krause Household

"Nana" Krause is pretty gloomy after the loss of her son Johann and his wife, Emily. Thankfully, she's started to embrace that grief and finds solace in expressing it creatively and taking care of her grandson, Bastian. Bastian was never great at communicating with others and seems even more withdrawn since the passing of his parents. His only release seems to be in embracing music and spends his free time practicing piano and guitar, or keeping close to his grandmother. Nana has moved herself and Bastian to Melino after selling their previous home, looking for a fresh start away from the source of their grief. She hopes some distance will improve their ability to heal from the loss.
