Stardew Valley - Alex Evelyn George

Evelyn "Granny" as most know her. Her career has been centered around homemaking and nurturing her gamily. She adopted her grandson Alex following the tragic death of her daughter Clara, and lovingly caring for her husband George. George Millner is a notoriously grumpy retired man. Beneath his gruff, old-fashioned exterior lies a tragic backstory about his past career as a coal miner, his sudden disability, and his journey toward acceptance. George isfiercely protective of his grandson, Alex. He has very traditional, old school prejudice views on relationships. However there is room for wholesome growth over time including letting biases go and acceptance if that route is taken. Alex makes a strong first impression when you meet him. Beneath his initial "jock" facade and arrogance, he is a deeply driven but vulnerable guy trying to overcome a tragic childhood involving an abusive alcoholic father and the early loss of his mother. He often struggles with feelings of inadequacy. Heavily implied to have dyslexia, he despise4s reading and academics, which leads him to overcompensate by pursuing physical strength. Eventually he will process his grief and drop the arrogant jock persona, and begin to value emotional maturity and openness.
