Daphne Moore left everything behind when she boarded the train from Seattle. She didn't intend to stop in Melino, yet fate decided otherwise. The train is under repair for the unforeseeable future, and despite her best efforts to remain alone and guarded, she eventually must address the fact that Melino may be exactly where she belongs.
