What this mod adds

Realistically proportioned lifespans by Delijume, including guidelines for realistically random Elder Deaths. Ages Breakdown: Baby: 0 - 1.5 years old Toddler: 2 - 3.5 years old Child: 4 - 8.5 years old Pre-Teen: 9 - 13.5 years old Teen: 14 - 17.5 years old Young Adult: 18 - 29.5 years old Adult: 30 - 59.5 years old Elder: 60+ years old (Die between 67 - 105.5 years old, See guidelines below) ~~~~~~~~~~ Realistically Random Elder Death Guidelines: Each day after an Elder is considered to be 67 years old, I roll a random number between 1 and 100. If I roll less than or equal to that Elder's survival chance, they get to live another day. If they roll higher than their survival chance, death has come for them. I will use cheats to have them pass away at some point that day. - Base Survival Chance is their Personality Level x4 (Leveling up their personality while they're in this life stage will increase their survival chances). - Time: I subtract a percentage from their survival chance the older they get, this percentage stacks up as time goes on: - Short: Subtract 2% per day - Normal: Subtract 1% per day - Long: Subtract 1% every 12 days - Stress: Going to bed Stressed is bad for their health. Each time they go to bed stressed I subtract a percentage from their survival chance: - Short: Subtract 5% - Normal: Subtract 3% - Long: Subtract 1% - Disease: Falling ill or getting mushroom poisoning is perilous for an Elder's chances. Each time they contract an illness they lose survival chance, but not seeking care for their illness is even worse. - Short: Subtract 15% when an illness is contracted and 20% each day it goes unresolved - Normal: Subtract 10% when an illness is contracted and 15% each day it goes unresolved - Long: Subtract 5% when an illness is contracted and 10% each day it goes unresolved ~~~~~~~~~~ Normal Lifespan (1 day = 6 months) Baby: 3 Days Toddler: 4 Days Child: 10 Days Pre-Teen: 10 Days Teen: 8 Days Young Adult: 24 Days Adult: 60 Days Elder: 15-92 Days Short Lifespan (1 day = 1 year) Baby: 1 Days 12 Hours Toddler: 2 Days Child: 5 Days Pre-Teen: 5 Days Teen: 4 Days Young Adult: 12 Days Adult: 30 Days Elder: 7.5-46 Days Long Lifespan (1 day = 1 month) Baby: 18 Days Toddler: 24 Days Child: 60 Days Pre-Teen: 60 Days Teen: 48 Days Young Adult: 144 Days Adult: 360 Days Elder: 90-552 Days
