Bound together by a roomate listing, the aspiring chef and optimistic musician quickly discover they have almost nothing in common. Ry can't understand why Zak keeps everyone at a distance, and Zak can't understand how anyone can be so relentlessly cheerful. But between late-night piano melodies drifting through apartment walls and home-cooked meals quietly appearing on the table, both begin to realize their first impressions may have been wrong.
