No one knows much about him, and he seems to like things that way. He arrived in Melino a few months ago. He has impeccable manners, a perfectly organized routine, and an unsettling ability to remain unnoticed even in crowded places. He never talks about his past. When someone asks him what he did before moving here, he always gives a different answer. The only constant is that he seems to have lived many lives. He knows several languages, can pick locks, has advanced first aid knowledge, and possesses almost superhuman precision in everything he does. However, he never explains where he learned any of these skills. The neighbors consider him polite, though distant. He goes out at odd hours, receives packages with no return address, and rarely allows anyone into his house. Sometimes he disappears for days on end. Then he returns as if he had never left. The strangest thing is that, in a locked box, he keeps dozens of passports, maps marked with red ink, and photographs of unknown people. They all have something in common. In each photograph, someone appears carefully crossed out with a black line.
