Starter Home for Two

Titled "Starter Home for Two" in Steam Workshop, this 3-storey home is nestled between two existing buildings. Provides ample space for a couple to start a new Paralife to thrive in. The building's architecture respects existing lot conditions while preserving valuable green space in the backyard. This lot was definitely challenging, but Paralives build mode made it really easy - and extremely fun - to design! This would definitely be a nightmare to do on the Sims lol The main floor entry is recessed to allow a bit of privacy for the residents of the home - so the door does not open directly to the public space, but rather alongside it. This gives a bit of breathing room for visitors as well, so they are not awkwardly waiting in the open street. On a utilitarian viewpoint, this is a perfect spot for package drop-offs and garbage collection. I decided to preserve the rear yard topography and I saw value in turning it into an outdoor eating, gardening, and barbeque area. I incorporated additional plantings and a cherry tree to liven up the space. The massive boulder was preserved as well and saw no reason for its removal 🪨 On the second floor - there is a small balcony facing the main street, accessed thru the corridor - with windows on either end to allow natural sunlight in. The bedroom is located in the rear of the lot for maximum privacy, but equipped with large windows to allow for views of the public space beyond - offering a view almost at perfect eye level. Finally, the third floor features a rooftop space equipped with a protected laundry area. Indoors, however, offers a small space for quiet reading. The features of this home (for cooking, chores, and sleeping) have been tested and are functional. However, let me know if there are any bugs and I'll update my build!
