Naya, José and Julio didn't exactly plan any of this. Julio and José are brothers, and somewhere along the way Naya showed up, fell for Julio, became José's best friend almost overnight, and never left. That's more or less the whole origin story. Julio works whatever jobs come his way and by night transforms into Tara Tula, the drag persona that makes you think twice before saying something stupid in her direction. That sting? It lingers. José doesn't work and has no intention of starting. He does the laundry, handles the shopping, keeps the place running, and considers that more than enough. Naya gave up on her arts studies and is now fully committed to enjoying life, maybe a little too fully for Julio's taste. She and José have since become inseparable, which is wonderful for them and a little disorienting for Julio, who is quietly trying to figure out where he fits in a home that seems to have rearranged itself around him. Naya also wants to open the relationship, something Julio is still trying to process.
