Diagnosed with schizophrenia during her teen years then running away from her bigoted family in El Dorado as soon as she had the chance, Dawn had met her found family in Austin, and there she met Elijah. They have a whirlwind romance, and with the arrival of Denver soon they have a shotgun wedding. Things weren't all merry though, because Elijah was never one for commitment and being married to someone with mental health problems. They argued a lot and he cheated on her multiple times. When Denver was 8 their divorce was finalized. It was a long time coming, whirlwinds are turbulent. Denver is a child of divorce and often blames himself for their separation, because Elijah often dogged on him for being "soft" and a "fairy". But a little part of him, inside, feels relief that he's gone. He can be himself. And his mother is CERTAINLY more happy. Yeah, they had to leave their old life behind, but it's a fresh start. Something new, something better. Dawn is a art teacher. She likes gardening and art. Her favorite medium is watercolor painting. Her favorite color is orange and her favorite flowers are sunflowers and orchards. Denver likes music and animal conservation. He LOVES wolves and the color red. He plays the drums and plays wolfquest all the time, often neglecting his homework.
