Heinrich Hickory, a renowned station manager, emigrated to Melino a very long time ago to assist with the management of the nearby railway station.
He quickly met and wed his beloved Geraldine and the pair quietly purchased a disheveled, split-level family home near Henry's workplace, which they dotingly renovated through their early union. It wasn't long 'til happy couple welcomed children and "Hickory House" soon became known throughout the neighbourhood as a joyful home filled with kindness, love, and laughter.
When Geraldine sadly passed of illness just prior to their first grandchild being born, the family bonds only strengthened between Henry, his children, and his soon grandchildren. Unfortunately, Grandpa Henry recently departed (or, at least, it feels that way) and is now watching over with his Geraldine once more.
The home has since been occupied by his daughter's family, who have slowly been making the house their own. But, some areas are still too painful to let go of...
Hickory House features 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, 2 reception rooms, 1 study, and other minor areas. It costs $98,715.
Hickory House is fully-playable however, the following changes are recommended due to use of terrain tools during construction:
1. Playability
1a. Lower-street door: adjust terrain so door can be used. Stair not required for access.
1b. Street-level door: adjust terrain so porch can be accessed from turf. Stair is required for access.
2. Aesthetics
2a. Fix soil column near lower-street door (if desired)
2b. Create ramp to carport (if desired)
3b. Add terrain paint: pathway from lower-street door to end at porch footpath, driveway from street to carport, soil behind lower-door fence, soil for garden area along street.
3c. The roof added over the balcony disappeared, please re-add. Flat roof and same metal colour as the porch roof. N.B. due to rooves not disappearing at this state of game, may be best to leave without.
N.B. No mods or cc used, No advanced building tool used (only shift and alt).
Minimal landscaping elements used due to terrain changes.
